Keffe D Sentenced to 40 Years to Life for Tupac’s Murder
Judge Carli Kierny sentenced Duane “Keffe D” Davis to 40 years to life in prison on Tuesday for the 1996 murder of Tupac Shakur, with credit for time already served. Davis, 63, was convicted in August and had pleaded not guilty. At sentencing, he only asked for his belongings, like pictures, to be returned. DA Steve Wolfson said he hopes the sentence brings Tupac’s family closure after nearly 30 years.
